Welcome to the University of Birmingham Lodge No. 5628
in the Province of Warwickshire.
The Lodge has a rich and interesting history and has for many years attracted individuals who have had in some capacity links with the University. The Lodge is still open to individuals who have a link with the University but has recently, under a relatively new initiative, been attracting individuals from many of the Midlands Universities under the Universities Scheme. For more information on this Scheme please refer to the link below.
As Master of the Lodge I extend a warm and hearty welcome to all visitors to our web page. Whether you’re a seasoned Mason or someone interested in learning more about Freemasonry, welcome.
The University of Birmingham Lodge has a thriving and vibrant membership and draws on individuals from an eclectic mix of professionals with a wide age range. As a University Lodge we traditionally follow the academic calendar and as such only meet four times a year: Sept (Installation); Nov; Feb and April. We have a full and varied programme planned for the forthcoming year. So if you would like to visit us, please contact the Secretary in the first instance. If however your enquiry is about how to become a Freemason or indeed if you’d like to find out more about Freemasonry, I would again encourage you to contact the Lodge Secretary.
